While Ann is off to the big quilt show in Houston, I am going to take a 2 day woodturning course. I will be in Bloomfield (near Belleville Ontario) learning from Paul Ross of Woodchalet Inc. Paul has moved to this area from the Hamilton area and has a very nice shop, studio and teaching setup. I am looking forward to learning a great deal and having my many bad habits corrected. I am very interested in his hollowing setup and with good sales of my woodturnings at Park Dale Public School at the beginning of Oct I may purchase one from him. I will let you know how it goes and post a few pictures of my new creations so check back a little later this week.

Good for you Ron. I would like a running update and of course I would like an update when Paul gives his demo at the club at the end of the month. He said he is doing one at Trenton too. Might be an opportunity to go crash the party? Ask him when when you see him. (I need some notice as I will have to cancel tango with Janet and will need lots of time to prepare her…)
