“That’s Why They Call It The Blues“ is a piece designed for Night in Blue 4, a charity blues night and silent auction to support The Children’s Aid Society in Kingston.    The background of clear textured  “ lava glass “ provided the inspiration for the flowing shape of the music.  The outer border of “ Blue Baroque “ glass gives it a funky feel  and the music is a simplified version of the title line of “ Elton John’s great song “ That’s Why They Call It the Blues “   It is approximately 12” by 21” .
