Trays are both functional and a piece of art. The tray is first made from wood and stained and then several coats of lacquer are applied. Ann then takes the tray and creates the picture or pattern from small piece of glass which she glues onto the tray bottom. Ron then grouts the glass and when throughly dry it is sealed with a special selant to protect the mosaic tray from water damage. The trays can be made with a variety of woods and almost any design or picture. Commissions are welcome.
